An “Old Tripel”, a re-interpretation of a traditional Belgian Tripel. Fermented and aged for six months in a big 3.500lt barrel that previously hosted Brandy. A new way to use the Collerosso (the old brewery dedicated to spontaneous fermentation) barrels during the hot months. The beer is rich, explosive in aromas, with the yeasty notes perfectly balanced with the brandy profile. A slight finishing sourness gives an astonishing freshness despite the high ABV.
A perfect combination with hard aged cheese or red meat.

The Bizarres are our most peculiar beers, sometime definititely experimental and hard to define.
We brew them once per year, one for every month, in a restricted quantity and with different packaging: bottles, vats and casks. Twelve completely different oeuvres, each of them with a recipe that shares the same, extraordinary inventiveness.
