One beer for month, for twelve months. Birra del Borgo\u2019s Bizarre beers melt together original tastes and flavors, varying from oysters to fruits, amphora to spices, hops to barrels, keywords being creativity and experimentation! This peculiar \u201cchain\u201d has turned into our\u00a0\u201cBizarre Chefs\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0project that wants to explain a new idea of beer, free from the clich\u00e9s and closer to gourmet food. Five appointments on national territory will involve chefs and caterers willing to put themselves out there imagining and experimenting unusual blends between beer and quality food. First appointment will be Tuesday, September 20, at \u201cStazione Posta\u201d restaurant, in Testaccio neighborhood in Rome, where host chef\u00a0Luigi Nastri<\/strong>\u00a0will share his cooking skills and his stove with\u00a0Davide Del Duca<\/strong>\u00a0from \u201cFernanda Osteria\u201d, contemporary bistro in Porta Portese, and\u00a0Walter Musco<\/strong>\u00a0from renowned Bompiani, Roman bakery in Piazza Bompiani.<\/p>\n

On stage, participants will be entertained by stories of\u00a0Leonardo Di Vincenzo<\/strong>, Birra del Borgo founder, alongside with chefs, friends, journalists and fans. Six dishes will search for the best combination with four Birra del Borgo beers, three \u201cBizarre\u201d and a seasonal one: \u201cRubus\u201d, beer made of raspberries, \u201cEtrusca\u201d, inspired by fermented ancient beverages, \u201cEquilibrista\u201d, produced with 40% of wine must, and \u201cStelle e Strisce\u201d, tribute to the American flag with its mix of American hops. After Rome, BIZARRE CHEFS will get to Turin in October, hosted by Andrea Gherra and Pietro Vergano\u2019s \u201cBanco Vini e Alimenti\u201d. October will also witness Rome\u2019s second step, at \u201cTordomatto\u201d with Adriano Baldassarre, while November will be the turn of Milan.<\/p>\n

The project\u2019s closing event is scheduled for December in Spiedino\u2019s brewery, in Borgorose, where the newborn \u201cBancone\u201d will welcome all the participants in its suggestive taproom, a place for staying, buying, tasting.<\/p>\n
