What\u2019s going on this week end in Rome? Well, talking about\u00a0craft beer<\/strong>, we could say EVERYTHING!While we are waiting the\u00a0Craft Beer Week<\/strong>\u00a0(Settimana della Birra Artigianale<\/a>) to begin on Monday, we definetly will have\u00a0something to warm-up with<\/strong>\u00a0in the next three days!\u00a0 An explosive\u00a0Roman week end\u00a0<\/strong>full of\u00a0 beer related events\u2026 and\u00a0Birra del Borgo<\/strong>\u00a0will be there! Will anyone still dare to say that March is a boring month?<\/span><\/p>\n

We will anticipate the week end to friday morning at\u00a0\u00a0Macche<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 real and long name,\u00a0Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the famous\u00a0Manuele Colonna\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0pub in Trastevere. The whole day, you will find there\u00a0Birra del Borgo<\/strong>\u00a0on tap! At night, there will be the celebration of\u00a0Leonardo Di Vincenzo\u2019s first steps in the craft beer world<\/strong>, ten year ago. And Macche was one of the place where all began\u2026 So we will have some very special beer on\u00a0 tap, like the\u00a0Fumata Nera<\/strong>\u00a0(a cask blend of\u00a0Reale in Kilt and\u00a0Ducale<\/a>),\u00a0Agua Caliente<\/a>, the brand new\u00a0Perle ai Porci<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Reale Extra<\/a>served with a randall!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hope and pray to survive Friday night, as you really can\u2019t miss the\u00a0Craft Beer Festival<\/strong>\u00a0(Festa delle Birre Artigianali<\/a>) to be held on\u00a0Saturday, 2nd\u00a0<\/strong>(from 4 pm) and\u00a0Sunday 3rd<\/strong>\u00a0of March atEataly Roma!<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will find there\u00a021 Italian craft breweries<\/strong>, more thand\u00a0100 different beers on tap<\/strong>\u00a0and the related brewers, in flesh and blood (and ABV) but also live music by\u00a0Nossa Bossa 5th\u00a0<\/strong>on Saturday, and many other events! The festival cornerstone will be\u00a0Eataly Birreria\u00a0<\/a>but also other spaces will be involved, and there will be some \u201cspecial guest\u201d like\u00a0\u00a0Domus Birrae<\/a>,\u00a0Ma che siete venuti a fa<\/a>,\u00a0Open Baladin Roma<\/a>,\u00a0no.au<\/a>\u00a0e\u00a0Ales & Co<\/a>! There is a\u00a0free entry<\/strong>, and you will only pay tokens to\u00a0drink and eat<\/strong>\u00a0what you prefer! Being inside Eataly, of course you will also find a lot of\u00a0tasty food<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Of course, we will be there with\u00a0our draft<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 including some old favourite and new stuff, like\u00a0Enkir<\/a>,\u00a0Maledetta<\/a>,\u00a0Perle ai Porci<\/a>,\u00a0My Antonia<\/a>,\u00a0ReAle Extra<\/a>,\u00a025Dodici<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 and\u00a0\u00a0Leonardo<\/strong>\u00a0will contribute to several events.<\/p>\n

Saturday 2nd, 4 pm<\/strong>: worskhop\u00a0\u201cThe Crown\u2019s Beers\u201d<\/strong>, held by\u00a0Eugenio Signoroni\u00a0<\/strong>andLeonardo Di Vincenzo,<\/strong>\u00a0about the great British beers (20 \u20ac ,\u00a0booking needed)<\/p>\n

Sunday 3rd, 4 pm\u00a0<\/strong>workshop\u00a0The Elegance of Beer<\/strong>, about wild fermentation, held by\u00a0Luca Giaccone\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Leonardo Di Vincenzo<\/strong>\u00a0(20 \u20ac ,\u00a0booking needed)<\/p>\n

On Saturday, there will also be a\u00a0special dinner<\/a>\u00a0at the\u00a0\u00a0\u201c10 lucky guys table\u201d,<\/strong>\u00a0featuring\u00a0 the dished made by\u00a0Ristorante Italia<\/strong>\u2018s executive chef\u00a0Gianluca Esposito<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0some very special beer\u00a0<\/strong>by\u00a0Baladin<\/strong>\u00a0e\u00a0Birra del Borgo<\/strong>!\u00a0Teo and Leo<\/strong>\u00a0will be there, together with\u00a0Eugenio Signoroni<\/strong>, to introduce their beers!Per farvi venire l\u2019acquolina in bocca, ecco\u00a0piatti e abbinamenti:<\/strong><\/p>\n
