D. Wetherspoon<\/a>. For this edition,\u00a0<strong>beginning on the 24 October,<\/strong>\u00a0JDW invited us to join the festival by brewing an exclusive Ale for them at\u00a0<strong>Everards Brewery<\/strong>. Here you can read something about our brew. We chose to use unusual ingredients and a lot of creativity, just to remember ourselves that we like to dare and experiment: so, the beer name is \u201c<strong>Tutto fa Brodo<\/strong>\u201d, meaning\u00a0<strong><em>it\u2019s all grist to the mill<\/em><\/strong>!!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, let\u2019s start from the beginning, of course! In the middle af a very hot summer, they called us from\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Wetherspoon\u00a0<\/strong>to join their festival, asking us to brew something completely new at\u00a0<strong>Everards Brewery.\u00a0<\/strong>We had already been there two years ago when we first partecipated Fetival to the\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cWorld\u2019s biggest Real Ale festival\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0held by Wheterspoon. Counting more than 800 venues in the whole United Kingdom, the company\u00a0 invites every year, for both editions of the Festival, about\u00a0<strong>ten breweries from all over the world<\/strong>\u00a0asking them to brew their own interpretation of\u00a0<strong>Real Ale<\/strong>. The beers are only packed in cask, and you can find them only in the JDW pubs, for a limitied amount of time.<\/p>\n<p>Last time we made a\u00a0<strong>special version of our Chestnut Ale Castagnale<\/strong>, but this time we wanted to bring a bunch of Italy\u2019s hot summer days to the rainy British countryside; that\u2019s how the recipe of\u00a0<strong>\u201cTutto fa Brodo\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 was born: it\u2019s a deep golden Ale, quite light (4,2% ABV) yet with a round body and a very pleasant citrus bouquet given by the aromatic hops we used, but also from the unusual mix of Mediterranean and exotic ingredients:\u00a0<strong>orange peel, lemon leaves, lime fruit and the aromatic Kampot Pepper<\/strong>\u00a0from Cambodia.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s how we got this<strong>\u00a0refreshing\u00a0<\/strong><strong>and appealing beer<\/strong>: if you\u2019re lucky enough to be in the UK between<strong>\u00a024 October and 11 November 2012<\/strong>, you\u2019ll be able to taste it in one of the many\u00a0 JDWetherspoon pubs,\u00a0 and maybe you cold be so kind to send us<strong>\u00a0a picture of that!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Leonardo ed Andrea<\/strong>\u00a0went to Leicester to brew the beer at Everards, and those are their impressions:\u00a0<em>\u201c\u2026brewing at Everards has been very interesting as we could meet and exchange opinions and experiences with our English fellow brewers.
