And just as it happens every year,\u00a0<a title=\"Reale 7 Anniversario\" href=\"https:\/\/birradelborgo.it\/en\/birre\/scheda\/14\/reale_anniversario\">ReAle Settimo Anniversario\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>also means\u00a0BdB Day! Those who will attend the party will have the chance to taste it along with many other beers, including some very special one! And now some more details about our<strong>2012 celebration brew!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Considering how much everybody loved last year version,\u00a0<strong>ReAle 6 Anniversario,<\/strong>\u00a0we decided to keep its main features. So we used the same malts we use for our classic ReAle and an interesting<strong>\u00a0hops\u2019 mix<\/strong>\u00a0(which we added with a continuous hopping and a dry hopping during the ageing) coming from the different Continents:\u00a0<strong>Hallertau Saphir<\/strong>\u00a0from Europe,\u00a0<strong>Amarillo\u00a0<\/strong>from America,\u00a0<strong>Nelson Sauvin<\/strong>\u00a0from Oceania and\u00a0<strong>Sorachi Ace<\/strong>\u00a0from Asia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But Africa was missing<\/strong>\u2026 so we decided to add an alternative ingredient from this continent:\u00a0<strong>roiboos<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>Aspalathus linearis<\/em>), a sort of bush coming from South Africa. Its leaves are used to brew a kind of herbal tea also adding spices \u2013 in this case black pepper and orange zest. We also added a\u00a0<strong>mix of cinnamon and other spices<\/strong>\u00a0coming from Zanzibar. This gave an intense and nice aroma, with<strong>\u00a0scents of tropical fruit and citrus.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s not finished yet! Wa also made a\u00a0<strong>Special Edition<\/strong>\u00a0(or we should say, a double special!), the<strong>\u201c7 oak aged\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0matured in wooden barrels.
